Equioptic Points of a Triangle

چکیده

The locus of points where two non-concentric circles c1 and c2 are seen under equal angles is the equioptic circle e. The equioptic circles of the excircles of a triangle ∆ have a common radical axis r. Therefore the excircles of a triangle share up to two real points, i.e., the equioptic points of ∆ from which the circles can be seen under equal angles. The line r carries a lot of known triangle centers. Further we find that any triplet of circles tangent to the sides of ∆ has up to two real equioptic points. The three radical axes of triplets of circles containing the incircle are concurrent in a new triangle center.

Schwarz boundary problem on a triangle

In this paper, the Schwarz boundary value problem (BVP) for the inhomogeneous Cauchy-Riemann equation in a triangle is investigated explicitly. Firstly, by the technique of parquetingreflection and the Cauchy-Pompeiu representation formula a modified Cauchy-Schwarz representation formula is obtained. Then, the solution of the Schwarz BVP is explicitly solved. In particular, the boundary behavio...

A TAXICAB VERSION OF A TRIANGLE' S APOLLONIUS CIRCLE

One of the most famous problems of classical geometry is the Apollonius' problem asks construction of a circle which is tangent to three given objects. These objects are usually taken as points, lines, and circles. This well known problem was posed by Apollonius of Perga ( about 262 - 190 B.C.) who was a Greek mathematician known as the great geometer of ancient times after Euclid and Archimede...

Constant Time Parallel Indexing of Points in a Triangle

Consider a triangle whose three vertices are grid points. Let k denote the number of grid points in the triangle. We describe an indexing of the triangle: a bijective mapping from f0;. .. ; k ?1g to the grid points in the triangle. Computing such a mapping is a fundamental subroutine in ne-grained parallel computation arising in graphics applications such as ray-tracing. We describe a very fast...

AN INVESTIGATION ON THE CO-ANNIHILATORS IN TRIANGLE ALGEBRAS

In this paper, we introduce the notion of co-annihilator of a subsetin a triangle algebra. It is shown that the co-annihilator of asubset is an interval valued residuated lattice (IVRL)-filter. Also, aspecial set of a triangle algebra is defined and the relationshipbetween this set and co-annihilator of a subset in triangle algebrais considered. Finally, co-annihilators preserving congruencerel...

A Note on the Anticomplements of the Fermat Points

We show that each of the anticomplements of the Fermat points is common to a triad of circles involving the triangle of reflection. We also generate two new triangle centers as common points to two other triads of circles. Finally, we present several circles passing through these new centers and the anticomplements of the Fermat points.
